The first International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) took place at the United Nations headquarters in New York from 17-20 May 2022.
For the first time since the adoption of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration (GCM), UN Member States, civil society, and other stakeholders, have assessed progress made on the implementation of the GCM and the protection of migrants. Prior to the IMRF itself, an informal interactive Multi-stakeholder Hearing (MSH) was held on 16 May 2022.
