During the course of the past year, the International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA), the Civil Society Action Committee (AC) and the International Migrants Bill of Rights (IMBR) Program at Cornell University have co-organised a learning program on International Migration Law (IML) for NGO staff working on migration, which focused on topics and issues such as labour rights, alternatives to detention, statelessness, human trafficking and smuggling, internal displacement and the Global Compact for Migration (GCM).
